WeWe Is Excited About Fashion Week..

Hi all -

Fashion week is this week as you all know. We were lucky enough to have a couple of fashionistas wear our pieces for fashion week, so we’ll put pictures up soon. Also, we are excited about the new styles for Spring/Summer. A lot of pastel colors. Bright, bold colors. To mention a few - loose, flowing pants with raised waist (thank God!). Strappy sundresses (like we have here at WeWe), Trousseau dresses with spaghetti straps. Sunray pleasted skirt, frilly petticoat skirt and seamed pencil skirt. Flowy tops - nothing clingy. Even loose t-shirts.

I love these styles. I am particularly not a fan of tight fitted clothes, so I’m definitely loving this season. Even more so for the pregnant or new moms. You know why? You may not have to buy maternity clothing. You can still be pregnant, yet funky by staying current with styles.

I plan on wearing all the maxi, flowing dresses we have at WeWe and the tunics. As my stomach gets bigger, I increase my dress size. I may be able to wear a size small in the dresses for the first 4.5 mths (the dresses are so roomy), and then move on to Medium for the next few months, etc. When the weather cools down at night, I will throw on a sweater - you know, one of those wrap cardigans/sweater that came in last season? A scarf, or i can even layer the dresses. Wear a turtle neck under my dress, with some nice flat boots. OR…this my favorite - Wear a wife beater aka tank top, your choice of dress and a denim jacket. Accessorize with lots of bracelets, a cool ring and you are good to go.

• Sweat Parka. Tunic windbreaker. Square-cut maxi volume jacket. Edge-to-edge jacket. Sleeveless jacket, visible seams.
• Cardigan blazer, Zip-front blouson in nylon or denim. Shielded short jacket, twisted angled sleeves.
• Sleeveless, tuxedo-style, croppoed waist-length or elongated jacket. Hooded hi-tech blouson. Fluid Zip-front blouson.
