Busy Slapped Me In The Face

Literally. I have never been this busy and I sure didn’t see it coming. I mean, I knew I was going to be somewhat busy, but em, I can’t even keep track of time. Now I wish the day had more hours - A 48hr day. Lol.

I’m quite sure I’m not the first with three beautiful kids, which includes a newborn and staying up all night, a business, 2 blogs, 3 cats, 2 dogs, and 1 snake. All the while, I have all these different “social media” accounts to keep up with, phone calls to make and return, emails to read and respond to, and I seriously feel like I’m failing at it. (OK, this is the part where everyone says, “aww” and you feel sorry for me).

What makes it more insane is that somehow, I have to fit a 2-hour workout routine beginning next week. This was my life(style) before the new baby and I certainly love to keep it up. My workout regimen consists of 15 mins stretch, 30 mins weights, 60 mins run and another 15 mins stretch.

I promised you all that I was going to keep you updated about my weight loss, and we were going to go on this journey together - per your request.

So, I’m going to chat with you with all honesty. I gained 56 lbs with my third child. Yes, I didn’t think it was possible. Lol. I wondered why I kept running out of breath. Go figure! It’s been 3 weeks now, and I have lost 36 lbs. I have completely changed my diet. Nothing drastic because I’m nursing, but my next post will include my daily diet. It is safe to say that I don’t eat carbs: Rice, bread, pasta, bananas, sugar, or juice, etc. I’m also doing my best to avoid red meat.

I have 24 lbs to go, and I’m giving myself 3 more weeks. It will be a little bit below my pre pregnancy weight, but it’s OK. Then, of course, I will maintain it by continuing my workout regimen and eating right.

Will do my best to blog as much as I can - along with my daily posts on Style Pantry so keep the questions/email coming. Don’t be threatened by my schedule. I’m not. Hehhehe..

  1. Well, at least you gained the weight by being pregnant. Some of us just gained it. LOL. Woke up one morning and boom! Hehehehe. As I’m eating a grape, I’m seeing it pop up in my ass. It happens that fast. Boy, wish I could be that disciplined (to work out). **sigh**

  2. Honey where do you find the energy? I’m tired just reading your blog..are you planning to do the ‘wrapping your tummy’ thing to flatten it again? I never did, I just lost the weight (a bit more gradually than you) and all returned to normal in the end..So good to hear you;re keeping busy though, it’s the best workout a mum can get - but I don’t envy tou the sleepless nights! I remember walking a continuous circle around the living room one night between the hours of 1am and 5 am trying to get my son to sleep! Nuff said!

  3. Good on you for being able to keep your eyes open and string together coherent sentences(lol!)…with a newborn and sleepless nights, in addition to life pre-baby, you’re doing a marvelous job! My daughters almost 2 and it’s only now that I feel I’ve returned to pre-preggers weight.

  5. @ Vera- That’s hilarious! You are too funny. Trust, you can be disciplined if you decide to see workout as a lifestyle

@ Debbie- Aya..didn’t mean to make you tired lol. I was going for the opposite. Trying to get you pumped!! ha ha. I did wrap my tummy, but now I’m just going into full blown work-out. Seriously, I just miss running and sweating from a great workout session.

@ Buki- Thanks, mama, but my sentences are nothing close to good - I have totally given up on trying to sound educated. I just hope people understand..lol.

    @ Pink-Satin, thank you o!
